The R2 is an all in one compact mobile induction sealing system featuring the latest microprocessor control and digital power regulation. This machine gives complete flexibility allowing for the sealing of 15mm through to 110mm diameter caps without any change parts and can be wheeled easily from line to line with full tool-free adjustment for head height and levelling. Relco also manufacture custom built sealing heads and ‘tunnel coils’ for particular applications and unusual closure designs.

Reliable sealing is guaranteed by the microprocessor which checks the function of the machine at a rate of 1 million times per second ensuring optimum performance in all conditions. The in-built self diagnostic system constantly monitors for critical fault conditions and warns the operator if a problem occurs together with providing details of recommended remedial action. A ‘no-seal’ alarm is provided to alert operators if sealing power is shut off for any reason, this can also be interlocked to a line plc when desired. Where necessary the R2 can be built to IP66 rating for power wash-down.

A full range of optional extras are available with the R2 including missing foil detectors, back-up queue and container jam detectors, cocked cap detectors, container ejectors, intelligent motorised height adjustment, under/over voltage protection and up-rated cooling systems for high temperature locations.
